Curtin to launch Critical Disability Studies Network

The Curtin Critical Disability Studies Network, a joint initiative of the Centre for Human Rights Education and the university’s School of Media, Culture and Creative Arts, will be launched on 29 February.
Former Disability Discrimination Commissioner Graeme Innes will speak at the launch of the network, which will have a focus on critical and literary disability studies, disability and human rights, and the emerging areas of disability media studies and disability and popular culture.
