Employment the focus for Disability Awareness Week
Employment, access and inclusion are the focus of this year's Disability Awareness Week, which runs from 27 November to the United Nations-sanctioned International Day of People with Disability on Saturday 3 December.
Disability Awareness Week has been held in Western Australia since 2009, to align with International Day of People with Disability.
This year the theme for International Day of People with Disability is the United Nations 17 Sustainable Goals.
Disability Awareness Week is focusing on Sustainable Goal 8: to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and full and productive employment for all.
