Guidelines and Policies

The Service Purchasing and Development (SPD) Guiding Policies have been developed as a resource for the disability service sector. This resource will enable service providers to have all Commission Policies that have an impact on service delivery conveniently on line.

A sound policy system is the cornerstone of fair, transparent, consistent, accountable and effective processes and these values guide the development of all Commission Policies.  The Services Contracting and Development Officers (SCDOs) assigned to each service provider are able to provide additional information and support regarding these policies and their implications.

Policy and Procedures Resource for Community Agencies Funded by The Disability Services Commission

To assist service providers in producing their own policies, the Standards Monitoring and Quality Assurance Unit of SPD has produced the Policy and Procedures Resource for Community Agencies funded by the Disability Services Commission, which includes detailed and user friendly material, including sample policies.
