This is the website of the Disability Services Commission and has information in the following categories:

• About disability defines disability, provides a history of disability services and has statistics about disability in Western Australia.
• The Disability Services Commission describes how the Commission works, includes important documents such as the Strategic Plan, Annual Report, Disability Industry Plan and provides contact details and employment opportunities.
• For individuals, families and carers provides information about services and support available through community organisations and disability service providers, including the Disability Services Commission.  This section includes Community Living Initative and the Community Life website.
• For business, schools and the community includes resources, practical examples and information about ways people with disabilities can be included and participate in the community, business and schools.  This section includes the Count Us In sub-site.
• For service providers provides information for organisations receiving or interested in applying for funding from the Commission to provide direct services to people with disabilities.
• Access and universal design provides ways of making information, services and facilities accessible to people with disabilities.  It includes resources about disability access and inclusion plans (DAIPS).
• Research Network is a website for Western Australia-based disability research. The website provides a database of research, a noticeboard, conference listings and information about conducting research in disability.
• Publications and links covers written publications, audiovisual resources and links to other websites eg Minister for Disability Services. The formats available are Word [DOC] and Adobe [PDF].  Contact us to request alternative formats of documents.
• News and events provides information for the sector on disability news and events.
