ASID 2017 Conference: Pushing the Boundaries

The Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability (ASID) has designed an inclusive three-day conference themed ‘Pushing the Boundaries’, which is being held in Tasmania. The conference will explore the major challenges facing all communities that want to realise the goals of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Keynote speakers include:
- Rob Greig, Chief Executive of the National Development Team for Inclusion
- Associate Professor Leanne Dowse, Associate Professor and Chair in Intellectual Disability Behaviour Support at the University of New South Wales
- Dr Jennifer Clegg, Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham
- Professor Monica Cuskelly, Associate Dean of Research at the University of Tasmania.
